Gulf Oil Marine’s 2020 Transition Seminar in Rome

Gulf Oil Marine conducted our ninth Transition seminar in Rome on 12 March. Like the earlier seminars in the series, the seminar in Rome was designed to help and provide guidelines to ship operators in preparation of their vessel’s compliance & transition plans for the 2020 emission regulations.

Our technical representatives shared the overview of IMO 2020 regulations and the transitional challenges facing the ship operators adopting to use the low-sulphur fuels for 2020 compliance. Our 2020 Ship Implementation Plan Toolkit (website: gulfmarine2020.azurtane.com) was presented; we demonstrated how it can assist customers to plan and document their ship compliance plans in an easy and convenient manner.

Customers were fairly engaged throughout the presentations. Many found that the seminar provided practical tips with clear guidelines for smooth a transition. Quite a few customers expressed that they would be working further with Gulf Oil Marine to implement their 2020 transition plans.

Gulf Oil Marine will be presenting its last Transition seminar in Athens on 14th March 2019. Look forward to seeing you there.
